Dunn Loring Civic associations have played a critical role in the evolution of our community dating back to the 1930's.  Board members, including the President are not compensated for their time or effort. We are a volunteer, non-partisan, non-special interest, civic association and all dues collected are for the benefit of DLIA members, our community, activities and events.  DLIA was incorporated in 1952 with the same purpose as today:

  1. 1. To exercise collective influence for betterment of the community with respect to questions of community interest, such as traffic, safety, public utilities, taxation, local government, postal service, etc.
  2. 2. To foster a greater civic community feeling in the interest of good citizenship and sound principles of democratic government.
  3. 3. To regulate the upkeep and use of community property whenever feasible and permitted by public authority.
  4. 4. To aid in a greater and more wholesome community feeling by sponsoring social, educational and recreational programs, and wherever possible to engage in charitable endeavor.

We welcome participation and support from the community, business leaders and political representation to benefit our community.

Welcome to Dunn Loring!
